Eastern Himalaya Breweries Private Limited (EHBPL) was incorporated in 30th August, 2001 under the Companies Act, 1956. The company is presently having its registered office at 20 KM Point, NH-52A, Hollongi, Arunachal Pradesh, India and corporate office at HB-226, Salt Lake City, Kolkata-700106. The company has changed its name from Eastern Himalaya Distilleries Private Limited to Eastern Himalaya Breweries Private Limited on 16th January, 2002. The main promoter of the company is Mr. Asit Kumar Ghosh who is also the Managing Director of the company.

Eastern Himalaya Breweries Pvt. Ltd. has proposed to set up a Beer Plant with an installed capacity of 1,00,000 HLPA which is expandable upto 2,00,000 HLPA at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.

Malt grains are fed to hopper of the elevator and then fed to screening system consisting of sieves of various perforations where the dust and small grains of malts are separated.

The Potable Alcohol segment comprises of categories such as Beer, Country Liquor, Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and wine. IMFL primarily comprises of Vodka, Gin, Whisky, Rum and Brandy.
